Rest

There was this one day where I walked around town and couldn't get any good pictures, but thankfully I got this in the end. At least its bearable. I think.

Generations

If you've been to places around campbell street Penang, you would probably have seen some hawker stalls that are passed on from generation to generation.

Night City Lights

Ever had times when you have the sudden desire to just walk out of the house and take photographs?
I get that, alot. Especially at night.
Night city lights just, intrigues me.

New kid in town!

My uncle got a pretty good deal for a Yashica Electro 35 GSN a few days back, since he doesn't take photos (he's an antique collector), he decided to lend it to me. So I took it for a 'test drive'.
And now, finally it's developed.
There's some light leak, but its still bearable, can be fixed. Its the focusing that's the pain, you cant really see if it's focused or not, so you'll have to estimate the distance. Ah well, I don't mind anyways, train to become full manual kaki!

Anyway here's some of the test shots :

Film-ized

A friend of mine introduced me to film photography not too long ago, and that just stuck on me.
The thing I like about film photography is that it trains me to really 'look' before i take a photo. One shot is around 50cents so I will have to make sure it looks really good before i fire the shutter. Not that digital cameras are not good, they're still amazing, I guess its just that I got too used to the click-lookatscreen-click again routine.

So here's a photo of my first film camera:

Hi.

Scratched my head a couple of times to think of how I should start the first post, if you're reading this you're probably someone I know. If you just happened to stumble here well, nice to meet you. Welcome to my photo blog.

This place will be mainly devoted to photography, but at times I might blurt out what I think too. I'll try to keep the ramblings to a minimal though.

Enjoy!

Now for the opening photo,
